Angie Ibarra is a San Francisco native born to immigrant parents and understands firsthand the pain of growing up in the Bay Area on welfare, with a single Mother and many siblings.  Caring for the needs of the poor and empowering families is her passion.  She has tirelessly led many efforts in her community.  She serves on the board of Able Works, a non-profit organization focused on equipping individuals with financial education.  Angie spent 25+ years in Corporate America, while volunteering her time reaching out to youth, women and families.  Her vision is to equip and mobilize a team of caring volunteers who will work with local schools, providing much needed support in education to under-resourced families.  Angie has developed a reputation for “getting the job done” and caring deeply for children and families in her community.

For over 25 years. Her passion is to invest in young leaders and encourage those who have been marginalized in our society. Her positive energy, passion and drive to help those in her community are evident in her work.  Her greatest joy is spending time with family and friends, especially her 2 married daughters, her granddaughter (with another on the way) and countless “adopted” sons and daughters – she is lovingly referred to as “Mama Ang.”
