Candice is a native of the Bay Area and grew up in Millbrae and San Bruno. She has moved progressively south with warmer weather and currently lives in Redwood City with her husband of 6 years, Norman, their dog, Franny and new edition – son, Peri. After living in Mexico with her family while in high school, she developed a deeper love for her Mexican heritage and culture, and now strives to use her experience and language skills to reach out to the Latino community in many ways. She has worked in various non-profit settings related to children and families for many years. She is the Communications Manager at Mission Preparatory Charter School in San Francisco and has volunteered for over a decade with local organizations including working with high school and middle school students, college and young adults. Candice enjoys singing so much that she now works teaching students voice lessons in her home, is a worship leader at various locations and might be seen in a local community theater production. She’s also loves spending time with her husband and family and traveling to new places.
