Sharon Seeberger, Glocal Hub Director for Peninsula Covenant Church, has lived her life committed to serving the community that surrounds her, whether across the street or across the sea.  Settling in the U.S. as a new bride after living and teaching English in Asia and Europe, her first American teaching job was in a Wyoming school district that had just discovered migrant workers on local farms brought children with them who needed an education.  Being the first teacher those children would know on this side of the border, Sharon soon became addicted to the reward that comes from sharing life on life in cross-cultural relationships with people eager to grow and learn.  Identifying potential leaders in developing communities and inspiring them to creatively lead their own people to become all they were made to be is her passion.  People are the same everywhere, whether in the remotest regions of northwest Congo, crowded high tech Beijing, or “climate best by government test” Redwood City.  They are made to dream, to love, to be significant.  Sharon sees Generations United as being the most effective way to offer this kind of growth to local communities.   Living in Redwood City, she is married to Bob for nearly 40 years.  One son Ben lives in China with his wife and son.  Matt is a local tennis pro.
